Lorde

Lorde Is Pop'n And Here Is Why

There are many things amazing about the artist Lorde. To start with she is very young. How young you ask? Well at as of today she is only 16 years old. Which can be a something to worry about, because usually when an artist starts out this young they don't last that long. With that said, unlike many young artists Lorde does have a immense talent.

Another thing that makes Lorde pop'n is her style of music. As you will hear on the video links below, she reminds me of a mix of two popular artists. Those two artists being Florence from Florence + The Machine and Madonna. The Florence side can be heard and her style of singing. The Madonna influence can be heard and her style of music. Although she is a little more hip-hop then Madonna. You can definitely hear this Madonna influence in the song Tennis Court. Which you can watch in the video below.

For these reasons I believe that this artist can go very far. Lorde does appeal to many different audiences. For example her style of singing and lyrical content appeals to those who like alternative music. While her style of music and background beats can appeal to those who like pop and hip-hop music. These are the reasons why I believe Lorde is pop'n. Hope you enjoy the tunes!
